Fly to Pasikuda - Sri Lanka

Pasikuda

Pasikuda is a coastal resort town on the East coast in Sri Lanka. Recovering from destruction during the civil war, it is now becoming a popular tourist stop due to its now stunning accessible beaches. Pasikuda, in Tamil, translates to Green Algae Bay and is known to have one of the longest stretches of shallow reef coastline in the world. People walk kilometers into the sea because the water is only a few inches deep and the current is relatively weak compared to the rest of Sri Lanka’s coasts. The Pasikuda Bay, Batticaloa Lagoon and Lighthouse are all sites that are not to be missed.
